SPAULDING Lloyd A. Spaulding, 74, of Rubyville, formerly of Columbus, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at his residence. He was born October 6, 1934 in Portsmouth, a son of the late John and Louise McCoy Spaulding. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ward Spaulding; one son, Michael Spaulding and wife Linda of Mesa, AZ; one daughter, Susan Spaulding of Louisa, KY; two stepsons, Johnny Maynard and Roger Maynard and wife Tammy all of Louisa, KY; four stepdaughters, Arlene Mitchum of Dunlow, WV, Faye Neuner of Louisa, KY, Tabatha Jude of Ft. Gay, WV and Bo Wilks of Winter Park, FL; two sisters, Dorothy Morris of New Boston and Lourie Spaulding of SC; and five grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Louanne Spaulding, three brothers Robert Lee, John and James Edward Spaulding, two sisters Alma Gene Raike and Joan Spaulding. Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Harrisonville Ave. Church of God with Rev. Sam Salyer officiating. Burial will b! e at Memorial Burial Park with military honors by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at D.W.
