Member of American Legion Columbus Post 82. Preceded in death by wife Catherine Rice, son Donald "Buzz" Lee Rice Jr, and sister Evelyn Dennison. Survived by daughters, Carol Backus of Columbus, OH and Tamara Rush of Marysville, OH; son, Randall (Cathy) Rice of Westerville, OH; three grandchildren, Donald Ross Rush, Tyler Jacob Rush and Daniel Jeffrey Rice; two great-grandchildren, Tristen Robert and Zoe Elizabeth; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Family will recieve friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the LONG FUNERAL HOME, 5528 Cleveland Avenue (one block south of SR 161), where Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday December 10, 2008.
