CHAFFIN Joan Chaffin, age 78, died suddenly on December 11, 2008 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Lucille May, and son Travis Chaffin. She is survived by her children, Janet (Lloyd) Williams, Kathy Chaffin, Debbie (Gary) Brock; grandchildren, Ryan, Shelby, Clayton, Sydney; siblings, Roberta Jobe, Carl (Ann) May, Helen (Robert) Barnett, Thomas May Jr., Carol Rowe, former husband and father of her children, Vaughn Chaffin. Joan grew up in Louisa, KY. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister, who enjoyed taking great care of all her family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 3-7 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor John Meade officiating.
