DAY, David age 72, of Middletown, passed away at his residence, Thursday, December 11, 2008. He was born April 16, 1936 in Middletown, OH to Frank and Julia (Grant) Day. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. David retired in 1990, after 31 years as Plant Operator for the City of Middletown. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2nd wife Judy (Manning) Day and first wife Patsy Day, the mother of his children; and daughter Lynnah Day. David is survived by his sons Rocky Day and Scott Day both of Monroe, OH, Jay Day of Middletown and Kirk (Beth) Day of Germantown; step-children David (Dana) Bursk of Madeira, Cindy (Mark) Basford of Middletown, and Lisa (Jim) Maupin of Hamilton; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brothers Kenneth (Jenny) Day of Fairborn and Ed (Maxine) Day of Middletown; and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service wil! l be held on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
