Charles Eugene Hall, 79, of Catlettsburg, Ky., died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at his home. He was born March 2, 1929, in Betsy Layne, Ky., a son to the late Robert and Dova (Rigsby) Hall. He was united in marriage for 47 years to Feba (Dorton) Hall who survives. Mr. Hall is a member of the Catlettsburg Church of God. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge in Catlettsburg. Mr. Hall was retired after 27 years of service to Armco Steel. Survivors include two daughters, Leta Jo and Edgar Childers of South Point, Ohio, and Karen Sue Money of Knoxville, Tenn.; one son, Mark A. Hall of Catlettsburg; and one daughter-in-law, Teresa Hall of Morehead. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by a son, Michael E. Hall. Other survivors include a brother, Robert L. Hall and a sister, Evelyn Whaley, both of South Point, Ohio. Mr. Hall also leaves behind nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, all whom he loved very much, along with a host of friends. Graveside services for Mr. Hall will be conducted at 1 p.m. today Dec. 9, 2008 at the Catlettsburg Cemetery with Pastor Aaron Childers officiating. There will be no visitation.
