STATON, Maggie L. 96 of Middletown, passed away on Wed., 12/24 at Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born on May 31, 1912 in Menifee Co., Kentucky to Joseph Perry & Cleo (Whittger) Cecil. She was a member of the Tytus Avenue First Church of God and worked as a cook at the Dixie & Star Glow Theaters for 20 years, retiring in 1982. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Billie T. Staton in 1992, a granddaughter; Janet Staton in 1988, three brothers; Dave, Courtney and Edgar Cecil and two sisters; Zelma Noble and Edna Hobbs. She is survived by her daughter; Geneva Reynolds of Lake Erie, Ohio, her sons; Courtney Staton of Sudith, KY and Bill Staton Jr. of Concord, NC, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, 3 great-great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements: Visitation will be on Sun., 12/28 from 3-5:00 pm at the Baker-Stevens Funeral Home with A Celebration of Life Service also there on Mon., 12/29 at 10:00 am.
