DAVIS Paul Davis, age 83, died Friday, December 26, 2008, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Member of Christ Presbyterian Church, he served as a deacon and elder. Retired from National Electric Coil with over 40 years of service, and a member of the company bowling league. Veteran, U.S. Navy WW II, Fighting Seabees, where he was a Carpenter's Mate 3/C USN-1, he was awarded a Victory Medal and Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal. Member of the Veterans of Foreign War. Former member of the Sierra Club and Foresters Club. Avid hunter and fisherman. Preceded in death by wife of 57 years Marjorie, son Paul E. Davis, great-grandson Dillon Santos. Survived by daughters, Linda A. Price, Rebecca A. Maynard, and Deborah (Charles) Thomas; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.
