Hello , I still have a lot in learn about genealogy , been researching my family tree and my husband's family tree off and on for a few years also anything to do with the history of Jackson Country , along with Clay and Owsley Counties in Eastern Kentucky . My family names that I am researching is Maggard , Shackleford (Shackelford ), York , Wyrick , Fields , Hall ,Madden , Brockman , Huff , Gabbard , Clemmons Searching for all history of or from Jackson County . Thanks >Okay all. Winter is starting to set in and that means that many of us will be settling back into our genealogy. Perhaps we can all start off with our annual roll call. Be sure to list your names and the counties that they have been associated with. With all of our members we might just find a few new family members.
