Thanks Wilma, Reason I ask is because I found a Jesse Corum in Greenup Co.,KY on a land deed between Vincent Dawson Sr. and a Jesse Corum from the same militia in Tazewell Co.,VA circa 1803.?Might be worth checking this out. I have Fielding Corum who came from Johnson Co., TN to Knox Co., Ky. Fielding never shows up on the Knox census, but his wife, daughters and two sons, James and Alexander do. James and Alexander were there by 1850 and the rest by 1860. Alexander then moved on to Lee Co., VA by 1870 and after that we cannot find him anymore, and don't know all of his children. My line is Fielding Corum and Caroline (Would love to know her maiden name); their daughter, Permelia (Milly) md.     3. In the very early 1800's there were Corum's living in Madison County, KY. These are the only Corum's listed in my Kentucky Marriage Records. Madison Co. might be a good place to look in the 1800, 1810 census. Remember to try different spellings as most couldn't spell back then.
