    2. CHILDERS, Jr., Rev. Bill 73, of Millersport, OH, formerly of Cumberland passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008. Rev. Childers was a native of Letcher County and had moved to OH several years ago. He was a Pentecostal minister and a member of the Open Door Pentecostal Church in Dayton, OH. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Blake Childers; his parents, Bill and Willa Mae Long Childers; a brother, Fred Childers; a sister, Lorene Webb; a daughter, Catherine Childers; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Rue. Survivors include nine children, Mary Moncrief, Dayton, OH; Bill Childers, Jr., Batavia, OH; Anna OLaughlin, Moraine, OH; Sharon McPherson, Trotwood, OH; Dianne Smith, Dayton, OH; Zebedee Childers, Dayton, OH; Lisa Swankhaus, Kettering, OH; Tena Demaree, Pickerington, OH; and Rufus Childers, Millersport, OH; three brothers, Kenneth Childers, David Childers, and James Stapleton; three sisters, Jessica Black, Carol Garrett, and Doris Burns; special caregivers, Joe, Tony! , Jacob, Marcus, Lucas and Rita Wall, who took time to laugh, play, and feed Paps; twenty three grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A special thanks to Lena and Angel, who spent a lot of time caring for Paps. The family would like to thank everyone who has blessed our family; Rufus, Angel, and children for sharing your home and lives with us. Visitation will be held 5-8 pm Monday, November 3, 2008 at Tri City Funeral Home in Benham, KY. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008 in the Chapel of Tri City Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Back officiating. Interment will follow in Blake Family Cemetery at Big Rock, KY. Children and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be left at www.harlanobits.net.
