FYFFE Bill J, 72, husband of Joan Dorton "Jody" Fyffe, died Fri, Oct 31, 2008. Born in Boyd County, KY, he was a son of the late Link and Stella Wright Fyffe. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, he was a Controller for Harrod Concrete and a member of First United Methodist Church. Dedicated to his work, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking and was an avid UK fan. In addition to his wife of 51 years, he is survived by his children, Lisa (Dan) Duzyk, Mt. Sterling and Timothy (Amy Blevins) Fyffe, Frankfort; grandchildren, Sarah K. Duzyk, Chris D. Duzyk, Sam D. Duzyk and Andrew T. Fyffe; sisters, Mabel (John) Lemaster, Mertie B. Hamilton, Mary Trimble, all of Paintsville and Dorothy (Leroy) Salyer, Lorain, OH; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Link Fyffe, Jr. Services will be 11am Tue at Milward-Southland, conducted by Dr. Billy Ray Jennings and Dr. Harold Dorsey. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8! pm Mon.
