SEXTON, Deannis B., "Dee" age 78 of Dayton, went to be with God, Sunday, November 2, 2008. Dee was born March 30, 1930 in Whitesburg, KY, son of the late Kernie and Elma (Caudill) Sexton. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1990. For years, Dee worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in the Precession Maintenance Electronic Laboratory. He was a member of Vandalia Masonic Lodge #742 F. & A.M. and the US Air Force Reserve. Dee enjoyed fishing, golf and his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Betty (Powell); sons, Larry (Christine) and Ronald (Tammy); 4 grandchildren, Christy, Megan, Matthew and Carrie, who will always lovingly refer to him as "Papaw". A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Baker-Hazel and Snider Funeral Home & Crematory, 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St., Dayton, OH 45415. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The fami! ly will receive visitors 10 AM-12 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420, in memory of Dee.
