Levi DeBoard Jr., 41, of Catlettsburg, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, in Jacksonville, Fla. He was born April 26, 1967, in Ashland, a son of the late Levi DeBoard Sr. and Ruby Preston DeBoard. He graduated from Boyd County High School, was a laborer with Mineral Labs and a member of the Army National Guard. Levi’s greatest pleasure was the time he spent with his children and precious granddaughter. Sadly left behind is his family: three children, Levi Holden DeBoard, and his wife, Kaylee, Ashley Marie DeBoard, all of Knoxville, Tenn., and Ruby Lynn DeBoard of Oak Hill, Ohio; four brothers, Timothy Alan DeBoard, and his wife, Michelle, and Reuben Lane DeBoard, all of Catlettsburg, Archie DeBoard of Columbus and Robbie Cline of Ashland; two sisters, Tammy DeBoard, and Edna Moyers and her husband, Mike, both of Catlettsburg; a granddaughter, Annalee Kadance DeBoard; three nieces, Shana, Heather and Shannon; five nephews, Charlie, Bryan, Timothy, Jonathan and Curtis; and his loyal companion, Sadie. Also preceding him in death are three brothers, Thurman Douglas DeBoard, David Lee DeBoard and Michael Anthony DeBoard; a sister-in-law, Tara Michelle DeBoard; and a niece, Courtney Mae DeBoard. A funeral service in remembrance of Levi will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home on Panola Street in Catlettsburg. A message of comfort will be offered by his brother, Ruben DeBoard. Final rest will be in Bash Cemetery in Catlettsburg.
