ROSE Paul Rose, 84, of Thornville, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on February 23, 1924 in Irid, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mary Ellen Chaffin Rose of Louisa, Kentucky and 14 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Agnes Graff Rose; 2 children, Timothy Miller of Thornville, Ohio and Trina (Wayne) Cagg of Baltimore, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Zachary and Abigail Cagg of Baltimore, Ohio and Stacey (Eric) Hysell of Rushville, Ohio; great-grandson, Jacob Hysell; many nieces and nephews. He was a driver for Greyhound Corp. for 36 years retiring in 1985. Paul was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church of Thurston, Ohio and past member of the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church of Liberty, Kentucky, first Baptist Church of Sunbury, Ohio, Amalgamated Transit Union, and Thornville Masonic Lodge 521 F&AM. A memori! al service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Fairfield Baptist Church, 7991 Old Millersport Rd. (Old Millersport Rd. & Rt. 256), Thurston, Ohio 43157 with Pastor Marvin Beculhimer officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
