Amanda “Mandy” Frazier, 32, of Louisa, passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, in King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. She was born April 9, 1976, in Louisa, the daughter of Thomas Frazier and Colin Johnson Sparks. She was a social worker and member of First Baptist Church of Louisa. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her stepmother, Donna Frazier of Staffordsville; her stepfather, Bill John Sparks of Louisa; her maternal grandmother, Goldie Johnson of Louisa; four sisters, Jennifer (Greg) Burke of Lexington, Amy (Mike) McQuinn of Mount Sterling, Carrie (Brent) Pack of Louisa and Elizabeth (David) Hodges of Pikeville; and two brothers, Matthew Frazier of Staffordsville and Jim (Amy) Sparks of Louisa. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Louisa by the Rev. Ric Frazier. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Louisa. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Gideons International for placement of Bibles.
