PRICE Thomas L. Price, age 89, Monday, November 10, 2008. Born June 15, 1919 to Charles L. and Mary Frances (Day) Price. He was married for 62 years to Lillian who preceded him in death in 2004. After working many years as a CPA, they retired to Venice, Florida where they had wintered for many years. He loved playing cards, dominoes, going to the dog races and having meals with friends. His greatest joy was seeing the world. He and Lil traveled from Australia to Alaska. He especially loved going on cruises. The one to Alaska was his favorite. He also loved trains. His favorite phone was a locomotive that blew when someone called. He was a US Army World War II Veteran. 50 year member Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus, Aladdin Temple Shrine. Also a member of Paul Harris Fellow of Whitehall/Bexley Rotary Club, East Columbus Lions Club, American Legion, DAV, VFW. Tom loved life and the people he met, rich or poor, he enjoyed them all. He made friends wherever he we! nt. If you knew Tom, you'll always remember him. He is survived by his daughter, Marsha; nieces, Julie Secrest and Kathleen Schilling of Columbus; cousin, Betty J. Price of Birmingham, AL. He is survived by a host of friends including his caregiver Betty. Friends may call Sunday 1-5 p.m., EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E.
