RHEA, Chester C. age 91 of Middletown, Ohio went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the Liberty Retirement Community. Born March 26, 1917 in Harlan, Kentucky, Chester was the son of James and Mary Jane (Sparks) Rhea and was a self-employed Realtor and later worked as a Building and Zoning Inspector with Butler County for 8 years. Chester was a member of the Stratford Heights Church of God (where he held many positions throughout his life) and a member of the Middletown Board of Realtors. Chester will be remembered by many as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved people and had many friends. Preceded in death by his parents, brother - Claude Rhea and sister - Bertha Rhea Wright; he is survived by his loving and caring wife of 52 years - Edna Elizabeth (Richardson) Rhea of Middletown; sons - Ronald (Elaine) Rhea of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jerry (Pat) Rhea of Hamilton and James (Jackie) Rhea of Middletown; grandchildren - Eric Rhea, Nico! le (Scot) Cave, Christopher (Julie) Rhea, Cara Rhea and Caleb Rhea; great-grandchildren - Amanda and Ashley and many other family members and friends. Visiting hours will be held Friday, October 17, 2008 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the Stratford Heights Church of God, 4419 Nelson Road, Middletown. Funeral services will be held at the church at 11:00am with Pastor Ray Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton. The family has requested that memorial donations be directed to the Stratford Height Church of God Widow's Ministry. Arrangements have been entrusted to Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S.
