HACKER, Marvin age 69 of College Corner, Ohio formerly of Clay County KY, passed away Thursday, October 16th, 2008 at McCullough Hyde Hospital. He was born May 13, 1939 in Leslie County KY to Fred and Clara Marcum Hacker. He was an electrician for the General Telephone of Indiana for 26 years and a veteran of the Air Force where he served in the Vietnam Era. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Bowman Hacker, two daughters, Rosanne Gulley and Randy of Connersville, IN, and Dawn Webber and Tracy of Oxford. Also surviving is his mother, Clara M. Hacker of Oxford, six grandchildren, Mallory Gulley, Emily, Anne, Ellen Heyob, Rebecca and Lindsay Webber, two brothers, Billy Hacker and Marjorie of Camden, and Johnny Hacker of Oxford. He is preceded in death by his father, Fred Hacker, his daughter Crystal Lynn Heyob and his sister, Betty Jean Hacker. Funeral services were held October 19, 2008 at Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tess Lipps officiated. Burial followed in the Squir! e Marcum Cemetery. Published in the Oxford Press on 10/31/2008
