FUGATE, Elsie M. age 79, of New Lebanon, OH, devoted wife, mother and sister, passed away Thursday morning October 16, 2008 at Harborside Health Care in New Lebanon, OH. Born June 28, 1929 in Irvine, KY to the late Ben & Nannie (Patrick) Watson. As a homemaker, her family was her passion and she enjoyed spending time with her beloved husband, sons and sisters. Mrs. Fugate attended the Brethren Church in New Lebanon and enjoyed bus trips with the church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother Russell Watson. Survived by Herman H. Fugate whom she married May 28, 1948; sons Ricky Fugate & wife Lynn, Timothy Fugate, and Steve Fugate; brother James "Howard" Watson; sisters Felcie Muncie, Ruby Flanary, and Dorothy Fugate; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Pastor Bill Walk pre! siding.
