BAILEY, Leola Todd Hunt age 98, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Liberty Retirement Community. She was born July 25, 1910 in Kentucky. Leola worked at P. Lorillard Company and at Gough Lamb Cleaners on Ellen and Manchester Rd. before retiring. She was a member of the E.U.B. Church, the Women of the Moose #183 of Middletown and the Middletown Senior Citizens Bowling and Golf Leagues. She played semi-pro soft ball with the P. Lorillard Womens Softball Team. Leolas first love was feeding and caring for her family and loved canning from her large garden. Her hobbies were her home, garden, fishing, and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Cora Winkler Todd; husband, Donald Grant Hunt; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis Duncan McChesney and husband Charles; her sisters and brother, and her beloved cat, Vicki Lynn. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Gividen, Franklin, Ohio; son-in-law, J. B. Gividen, South Carolina; 4 gr! andchildren, Cathie Channell, husband Mike, Miamisburg, Ohio, David McChesney, Franklin, Ohio, Chuck McChesney, Monroe, Ohio, and Dr. Brad Gividen, wife Mary, Baltimore, Maryland; 4 great grandchildren, Shaun and Katie McChesney and James and Lauren Channell; and 1 great-great grandson, Tristan Channell. Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2008 from 1200 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to P.A.W.S.
