WITT, Emma Jean "Peanut" Age 61 of Hamilton, passed away at Golden Years Nursing Center on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 12:05 PM. She was born in Laurel, Indiana on September 6, 1947. On September 29, 1962 in Oneida, Kentucky she married Charles C. Witt, Sr. who preceded her death in 1981. She was a loving mother and grandmother who is survived by five sons, James (Jenni) Witt, Billy (Tonya) Witt, Kevin (Joyce) Witt, Bobby (Deanna) Witt and Teddy (Karen) Witt; eighteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia (Proffitt) Mink; son, Charles C. Witt, Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Katelyn Gentry. Funeral service will be held at the Rose Hill Burial Park Chapel on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Keith Burt of the New Life Free Will Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the chapel.
