DICKERSON LONDERGAN, Vivian Pauline age 85 of Miamisburg, OH, passed away Monday, October 20, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH. Vivian Pauline was born June 3, 1923 to the late Clarence B. and Elizabeth M. (Bloomfield) Rogers in Olive Hill, KY. In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded by her first husband, Marvin Dickerson; their daughter, Marlene Dickerson; brothers, Claude, Hobert, Wayne, Martin, and Marion Rogers and numerous in-laws. She is survived by her husband, John C. Londergan; son James Roger (wife, Terri) Dickerson of Moraine, OH; three grandchildren, Andrew Dickerson of Miami Township, OH, Christopher Dickerson of Miamisburg and Jennifer Dickerson of Moraine; a great grandson, Elias James Hull; her sister Mary Willis (husband, Dick) Dickerson Allen of Miamisburg; brothers-in-law, Willie Dickerson of Xenia, OH and Haskell Dickerson of Grahn, KY; numerous nieces and nephews including Carolyn Bell of Dayton, OH and many cousins. Vivian was a 1943 gr! aduate of Olive Hill High School, KY and attended Moorhead State College where she studied education. She was employed as a printer for Dayco for many years before retiring in 1986 for health reasons. Vivian "Pauline" was an active member of Miamisburg Christian Church since 1978 and volunteered for many of the programs they sponsored. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and reading periodicals to give her the ability to offer her educated opinion on current issues. Vivians family will receive guests at Miamisburg Christian Church from 6:00- 8:00pm Thursday, October 23, 2008. Funeral services will begin at the church Friday, October 24, at 10:00am. Vivians services will be continued in Olive Hill, KY at Globe Funeral Chapel with visitation on Friday, October 24, from 6:00-8:00pm and funeral services at the funeral home on Saturday, October 25, at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY. Memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Vivian, to M! iamisburg Christian Church at 1146 E.
