HENDRICKS, Margaret Cathleen, nee Cox Age 90, of Fairfield, OH died on Wednesday October 16, 2008 after a long illness. She was born on August 29, 1918 in Estill County, Kentucky. The loving and devoted wife of the late Stanley Marshall Hendricks for 63 years and the daughter of the late John Whitney and Pearl Cox (Pearson) of Estill County Kentucky. She is survived two sons, Stanley M. (Sara) Hendricks, II of Crown Point, Indiana. Thomas L. (Suzette) Hendricks of Newnan, Georgia. Also surviving Cathleen are her four grandchildren. Stanley M. (Nicole) Hendricks, Elizabeth J. (Ryan) Collins, Jessica Kate Hendricks and Matthew Wade Hendricks. She has one great grandson, Sean Marshall Hendricks. Sisters include Mildred (Doug) Wilson, Jean (Logan) Whitener and Effie (Ralph) Clifford. She is preceded in death by her brother J.W. Cox, Jr. and sisters Edna (Pete) Rice and Delma (Fred) Ginter. She attended Berea College and enjoyed life as a nurse, teacher, bookkeeper and homemaker.! She most valued the important role she played in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandson. Her ideals focused on character, optimism and above all, family. A Memorial Service will be held at the Lewis Funeral Home in Irvine, Kentucky on November 22, 2008 at 1 O'clock PM.
