John J. Wireman, 74, of Load, Ky., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at his residence. Mr. Wireman was born May 1, 1934, in Magoffin County, Ky., a son of the late Lacy and Daisy Allen Wireman. He was a retired construction worker for GPX in Flatwoods, Ky. Surviving are his loving wife, Dollie Hammond Wireman; two sons and their wives, John W. and Cheryl Wireman and Dean and Dianne Wireman, all of Load; a sister, Mornie Rister of Wurtland, Ky.; a brother, Bill Wireman of Load; three grandsons, John Wireman Jr., Shaun Wireman and Lacy Wireman; three granddaughters, Chrystal Bonefield, Erin Reed and Pamela Wireman; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland, Ky., by the Rev. Raymond Lewis. Burial will be in Quillen Cemetery at Load.
