MOORE Callis "Top" Moore, age 79, of Glouster, died Monday afternoon, O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens. Born September 3, 1929 in Blaine, KY. Top was a retired carpenter by trade, and in his early years he was a pastor for the Northern Enterprise Baptist Church in Resaca. Preceded in death by parents Ernest and Mary Liz (Skaggs) Moore, 1st wife Elizabeth "Naomi" (Hay) Moore, 1977, 2nd wife Mary (Brammer) Moore, 2008, grandson Johnny Birchfield, step-son Mark Sims, brothers Arlie Moore, Jerry Moore and sister Marie Fraley. Survived by children, Letta (Denver) Seagraves of Plain City, Carol Shoemaker of Plain City, Bonnie (John) Birchfield of Plain City and Callis Moore, Jr. of Glouster; step-children, Clinton Sims of Corning, Robin (Tom) Richey of Gahanna and Rebecca (Lee) Newman of Nelsonville; 6 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul (Ruby) Barker of Plain City and Noah Barker of Columbus; sisters, Agnes Tac! kett of Columbus and Norma Vanover of Blaine, KY.
