STIDHAM, William Harrison 84, of Morrow, died Sunday October 5, 2008. Born September 28, 1924 in Allais, KY to Taylor and Rhoda (nee: Maddox) Stidham, he was retired from General Electric as a process control engineer after 35 years. A US Navy veteran, he was a member of the Blanchester American Legion. He volunteered for extended care services through the Sugar Run Baptist Church, which he attended. He was also a little league baseball coach for several years back in the 90s. Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Richmond and Raymond Stidham, two sisters, Juanita Peters and Nancy Combs and two granddaughters, Kelly Price and Becca Abbott, survivors include his wife of 60 years, Maurene (nee: Jones) Stidham, whom he was devoted to and cared for through her illness, one son, William L. Stidham of Morrow, three daughters, Sue (Chuck) Muchmore of Clarksville, Alinda Wnitersteen of Morrow, and Barbara (Danny) Urton of Maineville, one brother, Ed (Lois) Stidham of Tampa! , FL, eight grandchildren, Kim Speaks, Christina Cline, John Wintersteen, Christina Newman, Brandon Urton, James Motz, Katrina Hines, and Erica Mooneyham, and nine great grandchildren, Morgan Cole, Adam Wasson, Brady and Brock Speaks, Jarett and Madison Newman, and Donny, Samantha, and Savannah Hines. Visitation, Friday October 10, 2008 from 6-8 PM at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. Funeral service on Saturday October 11, 2008 at 12 Noon at the Sugar Run Valley Baptist Church in Morrow.
