    3. Hello Marsha Have we talked before? Do you live in Huntington? I too, share this connection with you. I never did get around to tracing the Wooten's back to Virginia. Ooten may have been the original spelling. I recall seeing both in Virginia data. I am descended from Timothy Justice and Rachel Wooten. Her mother was a Castle. I have forgotten her Fathers name. I lost all my early research stuff when my basement became flooded but have a copy of Joe Skeen's Floyd County Consent Papers and it lists the following. 1. Wooten, Elizabeth , Groom, John Anderson 5 Dec 1814 2, Wooten, Elizabeth, Groom, Jesse Bradley 13 Jan 1818 3. Wooten, Rebecca, Groom, John Blevens 30 Jan 1824 4. Wooten, William , Bride, Milly Burgess 25 Aug 1817 5. Wooten, George W. , Bride Polly Bann 8 Mar 1820 6. Wooten, Levi , Bride, Alphia Taylor 9 Aug 1820 7. Wooten, Silas, Bride, Keziah Ward 11 Sep 1827 8. Wooten, Silas P. Bride Sarah Adams 2 Jul 1821 It stands to reason that all these Wooten's were related. Which Silas are we descended from? I will look on my old hard drive to see if I have anything.
