Vila was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Delbert Cox. Vila is survived by her husband, Hubert Lutes of 62 years; daughters, Linda (Thomas) Kurtz of Middletown, Sandra (Alan) Karacia of Somerville, 3 grandchildren, Thomas L. (Cherie) Kurtz, Jr. and Lisa R. Spreckelmeier both of Middletown, Aric Karacia of Somerville; 4 great-grandchildren, Kristine, Kady, Taylor and Wyatt; 4 brothers, Lenzy (Cleta) Cox of Richmond, IN, Elby (Grace) Cox of Irvine, KY, Utah Cox of Paris, KY and Shelton (Linda) Cox of Irvine, KY. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 12:00-2:00 PM at Baker - Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Billy Wilson officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park! . Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Middletown, 1131 Manchester Avenue, Middletown, Ohio 45042.
