    3. Mr Saddler... My George Wl Lyon married Margaret King and they had a son named James born August 1874 and died Oct., 1876. The record of the son's death shows George W. biorn in Lawrence County, KY but I cannot find when he died. I found a George W, Lyon who was about the right age who was son of Manerva Burton and David Lyon but he showed in later census records to be married to someone other than Margaret King. Margaret is my relative that I have been researching. I just can't find if she had more children or when she died. Any help is definitely appreciated. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Saddler" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, December 04, 2008 11:00 PM Subject: Re: [EASTERNKENTUCKY] Roll Call >I know all about the Lyon Family back to the Scotch/Irish . > > "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty " > " In God We Trust " > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Douglas Lyon > Sent: Thursday, December 4, 2008 6:58 PM > To: Doug Kretzer, [email protected] > Subject: Re: [EASTERNKENTUCKY] Roll Call > > I found a birth record at ancestry: > > Name: Geo W Lyon > Birth Date: 24 Feb 1855 > Birth County: Lawrence > Ethnicity: White > Gender: Male > Father's Name: David Lyon > Mother's Name: Manerva Burten > > I've not documented that George is related to me. 3. Do you know if you have a Charlotte [Lottie] Bryant in your family of Bryant's? Charlotte [Lottie] Bryant Little was my GGG Grandmother. She was born on Dec. 25, 1809 in Kentucky. I do not know where in Kentucky but she married the Rev. Charles Little on May 31, 1824 in Morgan Co, Ky. and they had 21 children together in Morgan County around Lacy Creek. She died on July 4, 1878 in Morgan Co, Ky. and was buried at Lacy Creek. She used to ride bareback to Hazelgreen, Ky. to get her mail when she was an old lady. I have never been able to find out who her parents or any of her siblngs were and I've worked on this since the mid 1970's. It has been a big brick wall for me.
