WARD, Charles Jesse "Charlie" Age 48, formerly of Dayton, of Panama City Beach, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 13, 2008. He was born January 8, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio and had resided in Panama City Beach since 2001. He was a supervisor in the construction department at the Gulf Coast Medical Center. He was a member of the Amateur Pool Association and numerous Dart Leagues. He was our hero. Charlie is survived by his mother: Sandra Ward-Hatton, father: Charles Robert Ward, his son: Tyler Robert Ward and his mother: Kim, 4 siblings: Cole (Teri) Ward, Tammy (Gary) Claggett, Chad Ward, Ray J. Hatton, best buddies: Ron Porta, Mike OFlaherty, Brent Sabin, step children and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends in Panama City and the Dayton area. WHEELER, Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Sr. 74, of Catawba, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in Springfield Regional Medical Center High Street Campus following several months of declining health. He was born September 19, 1934 son of the late Rev. Ray & Emma (Chandler) Wheeler. Survivors include his wife of 54 years Janet M. (Miller), sons Kenny Jr. (Laura) of Catawba, Jeff (Ellen) of Catawba, Jerry (Becky) of Springfield. Daughters, Connie Brickman-DeWine (Dan) of Springfield, Sharon Hambrick (Brad) of Catawba. Grandchildren Keegan Brickman, Mandie & Danielle DeWine, Phillip Wheeler, Pfc. Matthew Wheeler, Stacy Wheeler, Levi Hambrick & Denver Rich. Siblings Donald (Shirley) of Mutual, Robert of Catawba, Ronald (Geri) of South Vienna, Geneva Hickman of Springfield, Ann Vanhoose of Cable. Proceeded in death by his father-in-law Phillip Miller, brother-in-laws Homer Hickman & Hansel Vanhoose, sister Melba Jo Wheeler. Kenny was a 1952 graduate of Catawba High School. He retired fro! m Navistar in 1996 after 31 years of service. He was member of the Catawba Pleasant Township Fire Department where he served as Assistant Fire Chief, firefighter and ran as an EMT on the squad before stepping down due to health conditions. He had great pride in the department. He was an avid sports fan & dedicated to The Ohio State Buckeyes & The Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed reading westerns & other novels & the family would like to thank Bill & Jan from the Clark County Bookmobile for keeping him supplied. SKEENS Tennessee Skeens, age 67, went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2008, after her courageous two year battle with lung cancer. She was welcomed at the gates of heaven by her parents Joseph and Melda Hall and beloved daughter Paula Duty. She was born on March 11, 1941 in Delbarton, WV and move to Columbus, Ohio in 1958, where she worked for Medal Forge Company for many years. She enjoyed bingo, shopping, taking short trips and spending time with family, friends and pets. ROBINSON, Donald Ray, Sr. age 72, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, December 11, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Blue Diamond, Kentucky, November 26, 1936, son of Herbert L. and Goldie Belle Robinson. He was a veteran of the Navy. Mr. Robinson worked for the Railroad, for Chrysler Air Temp, and operated several filling stations in the area. He and his wife were members of the Church of God. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Lynda Louise (Quinton) Robinson; 2 daughters, Robin Marie Simpson of Grand Island, NY, and Angela Louise (husband, Thomas G. III) Bellaw of Jacksonville, FL; 3 sons, Richard Earl (wife, Tamra Lynn) Robinson of Lebanon, OH, Donald Ray (wife, Elizabeth C.) Robinson, Jr., of Franklin, OH, and Anthony Wayne (wife, Suzette) Robinson of Fuquay Varina, NC; 13 grandchildren, Jamie Robinson, Samantha Robinson, Ryan Rothermel, Rachel Simpson, Jonathan Bruce Simpson, Kelsey Robinson, Kayla Robinson, Ashley Robinson, Megan Bellaw, Melissa Bellaw, Mi! chael Robinson, Christina Ann Robinson, and Collin Robinson; 5 great-grandchildren, Brittney, Rad, Solomon, Alexia, and Elizabeth; a sister, Frankie Carol; 2 brothers, Charles (Beulah) Robinson, and Freddie G. (Geneva) Robinson; and 2 sisters-in-law, Evelyn Robinson and June Robinson. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Herbert, Jr., Bill, and Leroy. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 17. Officiating will be Pastor James R. Compton. Burial will follow in North Monroe Cemetery, with military honors provided by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard. I think it should be Hood's Fork and that is a creek that runs from Blaine. I am not sure but I think it is a branch of Big Blaine Creek.
