I am searching for information on the family of John JONES, Sr. who was born in S. C. died in Barbour Co. Al. in 1844. He married Nancy _______ who was born in S. C. in 1787 and died 1855 in Benton Co. Alb. John JONES Sr. and Nancy JONES had the following known children: 1. Behiathaland JONES - died after 1844 2. John William JONES B 1818 in Ga. died after 1880 married Sophia BLACK ABNEY, widow of Simeon ABNEY in 1837 in S. C. This entire family moved to Texas in about 1867. Children: a.
