Hello, Everyone! Mike Basham, state coordinator for the TXGenweb Project has just told me that he will be in Nacogdoches on Tuesday night and will give the program at our CIG (Computer Interest Group) meeting! Mike is a *great* speaker (so everyone has told me) and we are *very* excited that he is coming. I'd like to have a great turn-out, so anyone who gets this who is a member of the CIG (we do not really have "members") but if you have come or have thought about coming, Tuesday night is the time! You do NOT have to be a member of the Nacogdoches Genealogical Society. The meeting is free and open to the public (anyone interested in the topic of computers and genealogy is welcome). So, if you are within driving distance fo Nacogdoches, come on down, over, up or out to this meeting. It will be held at the First United Methodist Church at 211 E. Hospital St. Hospital St. is one block north of Main Street. You can see the church from North St (business 59) the main street that goes north and south through town. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and we meet in the Parlor Room. We will have signs and people around to help you find it. I have been so proud of Nacogdoches for having a CIG, and we have had between 15-22 people coming to our meetings. Mike Basham has been quite helpful to Peggy Price and me in getting the CIG started. It will be a great opportunity for those of us in Nacogdoches and surrounding areas who may not have had the chance to get to Dallas, to get to hear Mike speak and ask him questions. Any questions, email me at webpsalms@iname.com. Please spread the word and plan to be there if you possibly can. Sincerely, Pam Phillips webpsalms@iname.com V.P.
