I am researching the Calvin Jernigan Family in Center, Shelby County, Texas. The Jernigans came to Center in 1885 from Alabama. Calvin's wife was Susan (Bardin) Jernigan, their children were Dave, Harriet, John, Daniel Woodard (Bob),Mattie, Elisha (Bud), susan, Fern (my grandfather), Antoinette (Nette), and Griff.
