Seeking date of death of George Preston BIRDWELL, born 31 July 1845 Lawrence Co., AL, who married 1) Rebecca A. Kilgore 18 Jan 1866, and 2) Cassandra A. BLACKBURN 24 Feb. 1869. He was the son of Allen & Luinda Ross BIRDWELL. George was a Confederate soldier having served in Co. G., 10th Texas Dismounted Cavalry. He served as Chaplain for two years.
