East Texas Folks, I was born in the East Texas Ghost town of Emporia. (Figure out where that is.) Love East Texas and the friendly people and plan to return when I retire. Cannot wait to get away from this stinking big city. Doing research on the Carnley Family in East Texas. Most of the Family lived in Shelby, Nacogdoches, Angelina, Polk and Tyler Counties. Any information appreciated. Will share any information I have. East Texas Roots is a good list, gets away from Genealogy sometime, but still a good list. Always get a response when I post something.
