He and his parents were born in NC but I have no idea where and without a first name, I'm stumped. I believe his name to probably be William but have no proof. The first place I find him is in Rusk County, Tx with Henderson, Tx being the county seat. Many of these families have members buried in New Prospect Cemetery just outside of Henderson, TX. Listed in her household are Minnie Smith, 1 month, b. TX with father (no name given) b. in AL. Also shown are children from Sarah's former marriage with their father being b. in AL : William R. Fletcher, 11 yrs., b. AR; Susan Fletcher, 10 yrs., b. AR; Lenard Fletcher, 8 yrs, b. AR; John Fletcher, 5 yrs., b. TX; and Darthula, 4 yrs, b. TX There is a Vansickle family connection as shown on the 1900 Rusk County, TX census: Benjamin E. Vansickle, 28, single, b. 3-1872 TX, parents b. A.Webb, but most likely they are. I would appreciate any help in my search.
