Dear Friends, It has been called to my attention that I have been away from East Texas Piney Woods too long!!!!! Thirty-five years!!!! The lake I meant was Sam Rayburn as you all probably know. My sister lives almost on the banks of it in Etoile. In my excitment of reading about the Piney Woods, I definitely had a Senior Moment. I now live close to Ray Roberts lake here in the Aubrey-Pilot Point Area of Denton County where there is nothing but a few scrubs and oak trees unless you plant a tree yourself.
