Hi all, In my continuing search for my grandparents, Frank Birdlow "Bert" Cassidy and Georgia "Peoples" Cassidy I have finally run across three Census index listings that may apply. I know my grandfather Eugene Herbert Cassidy, Sr. was born in Windom, Fannin Co., TX in 1889. Hoping that these listings in Fannin might provide a clue. Would sure appreciate a lookup if anyone has the 1880 census for Fannin. 1) 1880, Fannin County, TX, Frank Cassidy, pg 540, E.D. 31, ID:TX28972998 2) 1880, Fannin County, TX, G.W. Peoples, pg 382, E.D. 25, ID:TX287121287 3) 1880, Fannin County, TX, George Roberts Peoples, pg 444, E.D. 27, ID:TX287121291 Thank you for any help anyone may be able to provide. I have not been able to find this census, only the index. It was said in a short biography found recently, written about Eugene that his "great great grandfather, Jeremiah Andrew Cassidy fought in the revolution and lived to the unbelievably great age of 127 years." Want so much to find this mystery "elder" but can't seem to unlock the Cassidy link or dear Georgia's background. Been hunting for a few years - not long in "Jeremiah years" probably, but I've started to gray.
