Hi everyone: I'm new to this list so I will input who I'm researching. I'm researching the family of Willis Murphrey(Murphy) and wife Priscilla Dixon. They settled in De Zavalla Colony (Sabine/San Augustine Co., his headright fell in both counties) in 1825. Collateral families: Drawhorn, Eddings, Dewese, Williams, Dorsett, Renfro, Tynes, Davis and many more. McMahans Chapel, the first protestant church in Texas was built on part of his original headright. Would love to hear from anyone researching these families.
