Ronda, You might see if there is an LDS Church (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) meeting house in your home town or another close town. They may have a Family History Center. If a census exists on microfilm, they can get it for you for a small fee. They also have access to other records that have been microfilmed, such as land deed records, court records, marriage records, etc. Occasionally, you can find biographries and genealogies of individuals who may be connected to you.
