Okay yall, (just because I want to spell it that way), I am born and raised in Houston, Texas. My ancestors are from Lovelady, Texas / Houston County. If anybody has any info on Lovelady or where to get historical info I would love to hear it. Another thing I would like to mention is ebay. Ebay has hundreds of old pictures that are up for auction. Many of these pictures have no name on the back of them and the owner sells them sometimes for under a dollar. I have never sold anything on ebay, I have however made a few purchases, which I have been very satisfied. Just check to make sure the seller has lots of references next to there name. Also check and see if they list the shipping charge. If it does not state it in the description, and you think you might bid on this item, then please make sure you ask the seller first before you place your bid. Shipping charges are where they get you (that's just my opinion). To search for photo's just enter into the search menu one of the following: - cabinet photo - old photograph - family photo Its also fun the enter the surname you are researching. People have estate sales all the time on ebay and there maybe a family bible or other family info you are researching up for auction. Have fun. I am researching the surnames Calvert, Sullins, Bates, and Janda from Texas. Also researching the surname Balderson for Maryland. See Ya, Laura
