Pam, If your family grew up in Trinity County, TX you should try the book "Trinity County Beginnings". It is one of the best "family story" books I've ever seen. Probably any book seller that deals with history could get it for you, but I ordered mine from Boyd Publishing over the internet. They were wonderful to deal with!
