    3. Hello Everyone, I want to thank everyone for the response to my post about these books. I have not, or never intended to order these. I had one of those 'gut' feelings about them!!! What I really was looking for is a book that cited legitimate family histories, especially from this area, as sort of an accompaniment to what I am learning about my families. At this point, I know virtually nothing about my fathers family, except for names, dates of birth, dates of death, where they were born & where they died. I think that to have just a short story, about what they did, and "who" they were, or what they cared about would make them seem like such a "real" person, much more a part of the family. OOOOOPS!!!
