Hi Eddie: That is probably the same brick wall I encountered! Some of my people left Angelina Ct. and followed the timber logging business north into Harrison Ct. about that time. They lived in the 'Fronts', such as 'Watermans Front ' which was abandoned when the area was logged out. I.E. no records! In abt. 1900 the oil booms hit East Texas and many people started working in the oil fields, which was a very transient life style. Guess what? No records! I am searching for WOOD, CRANE, & McGINNES.
