    1. Mill explosion Cass/Titus Co.
    2. Does anyone have information on a Mill explosion somewhere, probably around Hickory Hill in the 1880's? John Singletary m. Judith Barber is supposed to have been killed in a mill explosion sometime between 1880-1900. He was in the census in 1880, but by 1900 there is a Maude Price listed as sister-in-law, making me believe that Judith married #2 ___ Price. With no 1890 I can't narrow it down more than that. John was the son of James A. Singletary and Martha Carolin Huckaby who were from Monroe Co., GA, but died and are buried in Cass Co., TX. John and Judith probably married in Cass Co. as the Barber's were in Cass Co. too. I've seen some evidence that there were either two Hickory Hills, or it changed counties from Cass to Titus as the lines were formed. The Barbers were from Butts Co., GA, but lived and died in Hickory Hill, Titus, TX. Lillie B. Ruby SWITW@aol.com
