Good Morning, According to my foster father another hurricane of equal intensity hit the same region in 1907 with much of the same horrendous loss. My foster father said he lost his father in that hurricane. The father had been working on a dredge in the harbor. Dad Lewis had photo's of his father's sunken dredge and its recovery in his photo album. His father's body was never recovered. It may have been swept out to sea with the storm waters when the tide changed. I have searched for but never found his name (Charles Andrew Lewis) on any list of the dead or missing.
