Another option is to create a webpage.....but that does take work. On the Missouri-L list, roll calls are verboten (way too many people/too many posts involved). As an alternative, we've got a webpage that lists the surnames/locations/email folks are looking for, limited to Missouri. (People *will* persist in sending listings for outside Missouri, but I simply don't post those). In the case of this list, of course, they'd have to be limited to the East Texas ancestors. piglet (megan zurawicz) ICQ: 18429839 genealogy-- http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~piglet quilting-- http://pages.prodigy.net/mspiglet theatre-- http://members.aol.com/tupacratz/poohpix.htm -----Original Message----- From: pam serda <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Friday, 09 July, 1999 20:15 Subject: ATTN; List Owner > >Here is just a suggestion: > >Maybe you should ask that all subscribers send to you, >their surnames, the year that person was born, and the >state they were born in.
