Here are two of several surnames on which I am doing research. The above lines lived in and around Anderson County. Rev. Walker was one of the founders of New York, TX. Joel Fain and his wife Nancy Lay owned land in Anderson County. Many descendants still live in Texas or Georgia. The two families migrated to Texas from Georgia in the mid to late 1850's.
