Now you have me wondering about buffalo. As if I did not have enough to consider already! Buffalos are a part of our American heritage, and it is just a darn shame that they have been misused. There are always two sides to every story. I am going to investigate this one. Are you quite certain that the innoculations for cattle,against buffalo diseases, are inexpensive and easy to aquire? Are you certain that the disease threat is the source for the rancher's objection to the free range buffalo? God did create all the creatures, but he gave man dominion over them, as well as stewardship over the earth. We have done a poor job of it lately and yes, greed is usually behind our waste of resources. However, the situation described here,with the ranchers in the Yellowstone area, just not wanting to give their cattle simple injections, seems too simplistic. There has got to be more to the story. Why indeed, would they object to the Indians removing this buffalo to their own ranches. The buffalo must be federal property? What in the global village will Ted Turner do with all those buffalos, when they have reproduced to a herd size that he cannot maintain? The United Nations and his One World Government friends don't need them. Here I go,shuffeling off to look up buffalo information,when I have all these missing relatives to find. Karen Kerr
