Seeking information on the following family members who were in or around Shelby County in the late 1800s. Martha Ann HALL first married a Webb and then James FORSYTH. Martha's father died when she was very young and left her some land in Shelby County (near Sardis Community). Martha left the land to two or three children, one being William, my great grandfather. He married Addie Belle DAVIS.They sold it for a wagon and a mule sometime around the turn of the century and moved to Lufkin to be near Martha's son from first marriage (Johnny Webb I believe). They later returned to Shelby County, where my grandmother, Elva Oleen Forsyth Oliver was born 1910. Addie DAVIS was the daughter of John Isaac Davis and Martha Cogswell Davis. John was born in Montgomery, AL. Martha was a descendant of the famous Cogswells of New England (of which I have a pretty good charting of her ancestry). John's parents were S.A. Davis and N.
